I've heard the development was really choppy and so the product we got was a handful of really good components kinda stitched together at the last second. ![]() I know we haven't seen Season 1 yet, and updates will improve the game, but it still feels like a whole heap of elements are missing or done badly already. With that material to learn from and a hefty budget, what went wrong? That genre hasn't been adapted a ton, but those games do exist - Path of Exile most notably, but also Torchlight, Titan Quest, Victor Vran, Grim Dawn, and others - and the way the loot and monsters work has influenced other games like Borderlands.
